Even as Brexit, trade wars, and increased nationalism roiled Western markets, African countries came together to create the largest free trade area in the world. Please join us as Dr Duggan discusses the promise and peril of regional integration, including where the EU went wrong, the opportunities and risks of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and what African countries must consider if regional integration is to succeed on the continent.
